LOUIS MOSS MEMORIAL BRIDGE TOURNAMENT

On the afternoon of the 3^rd April  56 bridge players attended the Louis Moss Memorial Bridge Tournament at the Chalfont St Peter Community Centre. Louis Moss was one of the founder members of the Club who originally set up and organised the tournament ten years ago. Louis passed away five years ago but we are pleased to continue with the tournament in his name. Louis’s son, Nicholas, a local estate agent, continues to support our event and sponsor the prizes. 

As well as an afternoon of excellent duplicate bridge, participants were treated to an a tea with delicious sandwiches and cakes all made by the Lady Rotarians of our Club.

Over the last ten years the event has raised a total of over £10,000.00 that has been donated to various charities. This year from ticket sales and a raffle we have raised over £900.00 that will be donated to the Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.
