Nepal Projects
In 2014 - 2015 the club has funded, along with other clubs and Rotary grants, a Health Post in the far north-west of Nepal in co-ordination with the Nepal Trust. The post now in 2016 required a solar powered refridgerator and several clubs contributed to the £4000 cost. The Health Post is situated at 12000 feet and thus a helicopter was required for transport to the location.
The refridgerator had to be unpacked to fit in the helicopter.
