Madras College pupil Ana Reichart gave an illustrated talk about her experiences at Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) camp.
Ana was sponsored by the Kilrymont club to attend the summer camp at Nethybridge in the Cairngorms National Park.
RYLA aims to give young people the opportunity to develop leadership, citizenship and personal skills through a variety of activities and workshops with motivational speakers.
Ana gave an excellent presentation to the Kilrymont members and said the week had improved her confidence and ability to mix with others thus boosting her team-working skills. She said it was one of the best weeks of her life.
An email from her RYLA mentor said Ana was a great credit to her school, the club and herself.
After leaving Madras, Ana hopes to study chemistry at Strathclyde University.
Ana, accompanied by her mother, was welcomed to the meeting by president David Gray and Jim Douglas introduced Ana and also proposed thanks for her talk so confidently delivered.
