BBQ in aid of End Polio Now

The sun forgot to shine on our garden barbecue on Sunday 1st September but that did not deter those who attended enjoying themselves. The friendly chatter, musical entertainment and lovely grub all helped brighten up a dull day whilst raising much needed funds for End Polio Now.

Thanks to the generosity of those there on the day and donations from others unable to attend, around £2,000 was raised.

Every pound donated by the Club becomes £3 thanks to the support of Bill and Melinda Gates.

Many thanks to all who were there or donated in any way, the Rotations of the Fundraising Group who worked hard to help make the day a success and to Ewen and Jane Allan for hosting the event.
