Richard Burns, of the 8th Fife (St Andrews) Scout Group, spoke about the Scouting movement. Richard, volunteer leader of Strathkinness Cubs and Beavers, told of the dramatic changes that have taken place in the 117-year history of Scouting. He also thanked the Rotary club for a £500 donation earlier this year which enabled the youngsters to have access to a pop-up gazebo for outdoor activities. Stephen Bennie introduced Richard and also proposed a vote of thanks for a passionate and humorous talk.
