Anne Tait on Reception

Mike Dow, incoming Club President, presented his plans for the year 2021-22 at the club’s assembly.

Mike said there would be renewed focus on environmental and community projects which, with members being seen working in the community, would in turn increase the club’s public profile.

Learning from lockdown, the club aimed to offer practical community support, reinforce fellowship and continue to embrace online meetings.

Mike presented his charity budget proposals and how Kilrymont would continue to support local groups.

He said he would like to see expansion in all areas of the club’s work including youth and community service projects. Mike added that he would also like to see an increase in membership.

District Governor Nominee for 2021-22, Jim Hatter, from Inverurie, acted as external AG assessor and praised Kilrymont for its ambitious plans and wished the club well in achieving its aims.
