THE SEARCH FOR THE LOST TREASURE OF KING CHARLES I

Where is the ferry boat that vanished in the Firth of Forth on a summer storm on Wednesday the 10th July in 1633? …   and what happened to its royal cargo alleged to have contained half a ton of silver and gold the riches of a king?

This is an account of the Scottish coronation journey of Charles 1 and the sinking of the coronation baggage ferry in the Firth of Forth.

The illustrated presentation gives a full version of the speaker’s direct involvement up to the present day of the search to find the missing ferry.

It is one of the longest running and most tantalising of treasure hunts.
