TRIP TO EDINBURGH TATTOO

A group of 29 members, family and friends made the trip to Edinburgh and its Castle Esplanade for a performance of the Royal Military Tattoo.

And a great occasion it turned out to be, in no small part because of the weather in a glorious August evening. Unbroken sunshine to start the proceedings, followed by a wonderfully clear evening with hardly a breath of wind. Unusual for the open aspect of the Esplanade!

As always, the Tattoo was a fabulous event, particularly the sensational performances by what seemed to be the largest-ever massed pipe bands.

Thanks go to the St Andrews Executive Travel coach driver who went out of his way to accommodate all passengers in their drop-off points back in Fife in the early hours of the following morning.
