The beneficiaries of the raffle:
Make a Wish Foundation (Scotland)
Right now over 134,000 children in the UK are dealing with the gruelling daily reality of life with a critical illness. When it comes to their dreams, they deserve to wish for more than a life defined by their illness. Critical illness brings a child’s joy to an abrupt end but Make-A-Wish UK is part of a global movement that grants life-changing wishes that have the power to turn tears into cheers, rescuing the magic of childhood even in their toughest times and providing a lifeline for families to spend precious time together.
Madras College Equity Fund
The Equity Fund is dedicated to removing obstacles that prevent school children from participating in extra-curricular activities. This particular donation will make a meaningful difference for Afghan children at Madras College, who have recently formed a cricket club. The funds will be used to provide them with a team strip, likely featuring the Rotary logo, enabling them to present a positive and unified image when competing against other school teams.
About the accommodation -Coylumbridge Highland Lodges Club offers an ideal location for relaxation and access to some of the best landscapes in the Scottish Highlands. The resort is located one mile from the town of Aviemore on the B970 road towards the Cairngorm mountains.
The lodge is positioned within 65 acres of scenic woodland, providing a sense of space and tranquillity from the moment of arrival.
