Family Fun Day Stafford Town FC

Rotary Club of Stafford Knot are holding a family fun day at Stafford Town FC. A lovely day of fun with your family


The sun eventually came out and shone, which meant it was warm enough for ice cream. There were several small local businesses with handmade crafts, The polal PCSO popped in for a chat and the Blood Bikes turned up, which was of gret interest of the children and men. Several had photos taken on the bikes. 
Stafford Town ladies football team did a demo and warm up session and the Mayor participated. He spoke to the charitiies who were there, Stafford Women's Aid and Buddy Bags. 
All that work and we needed food, so Pam and Robert Hindle fed us with hot dogs and hamburgers, Very Nice To. 
So thanks to everyone who came and supported us. Thanks to the DG for turning out and all the rotarians, family members and friends who helped.  
We draw our raffle and winners will be notified.

There will be a demonstration from Stafford Mums football team, started by the Mayor.
There will be craft staffs for mums to browse.
Children can bash the rat,  hook a duck, have a go on the lucky dip.
Get their face painted or try a lucky lolly, Name the teddy.
Or you can try your luck on the tombolla, choose a secondhand book  
Buy a burgers and hot dogs, tea and cake or bring a picnic.
There will be the draw of our lottery tickets for the lovely cash prizes
And of course much more.
We have a fire engine, local PCSO a police car and a bike from the Blood Bikes.an amazing organisation.
There's candyfloss and ice cream, should the sun come out.

So watch this space as more things get added.

All funds will go to the Rotary club, to support their local activities and charities.  The charities are Stafford Women's Aid and Buddy Bags.

This year's lunch featuring the sing along.

A recent community project was the Pensioners Lunch on 21st June. 78 pensioners, most of whom live by themselves and frequently do not have contact with others were treated to lunch with wine and entertainment.
