Experience the timeless beauty of the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols—a cherished Christmas tradition that tells the story of hope and joy through scripture and song.

This year’s service will be conducted by Revd Laura Wheatley Downs, with music led by Rachel Riordan and the Cecilia Singers, accompanied by organist Stuart McSweeney.

Together, they’ll bring the Spirit of Christmas to life in the stunning surroundings of Wellington College’s historic Chapel of the Holy Spirit, whose foundation stone was laid by HRH Prince Albert in 1861.

Doors open for access to the Chapel from 7:05 p.m. with the service commencing at 7:30 p.m.

Proceeds will support Rotary’s mission of helping those in need at Christmas. In previous years, this event has raised money for the Rotary Club of Ukraine—supporting those displaced by conflict; ShelterBox—a charity aiding those made homeless due to conflict or natural disasters; and local charity The Cowshed—supporting those in short-term need.

Those attending the service are invited to an after-service reception for wine and mince pies in the College’s historic Waterloo Hall.
