Our Club

The club hosts a variety of exciting events and regular meetings throughout the year.

Our major fundraising events include.

• New Year's Day Walk. Children, families and dog walkers enjoy the beautiful grounds of Wellington College, Crowthorne.
• Service of Nine Lessons and Carols.  A traditional Christmas service of hymns and readings held at the beautiful Chapel of the Holy Spirit, Wellington College.
  
• Fun Quiz Night. An evening of fun and intellectual challenge along with good food.

 Club Meetings. 

• Club meetings: These are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, with an additional meeting on the 5th Tuesday when these occur.
• Planning Meetings: At planning meetings, we address the ongoing topic of "who do we help next” and how do we make it happen.
• Speaker Events: Guest speakers share their expertise and engage us with on a wide range of interesting topics.
• Social Events: These are a great opportunity to connect with fellow club members and their partners to  build friendships and have fun.

Social Events.

• Christmas Lunch. Each year the club holds a Christmas social event and in recent years the event has been a theatre trip with dinner.
• Pinewood Raceway. A regular visit to the Pinewood Rahway, essentially a large Scalextric set, is always a favourite. Member’s and partners race in teams and can be very competitive.
• Theatre Trips. Trips to local theatres either as part of a fund raising activity or a social event are scheduled throughout the year.
• Fun evenings. These can be a pub skittles evening, a dinner dance or even tenpin bowling.
• Walks and Lunches. A walk in a scenic area followed by a pub lunch in the summer months is always well attended by members and their partners.
