Pudsey’s visit to Crowthorne on 17 November really raised spirits in the High Street. From all the smiles and thumbs-ups from pedestrians and motorists to the staff of Salon 55 who donated their morning’s tips and all the retailers’ kind offers of tea, coffee and hot chocolate for the chilly Rotary collectors.
By the time Pudsey left, Crowthorne has raised £564 for Children in Need and is he’s looking forward to visiting this friendly village again next year.
