The winner of Burntisland & Kinghorn Rotary Club's "Young Citizen of the year 2025" is Euan Stewart from Auchtertool.He was nominated by Gemma Thomson, Group Lead Volunteer of the 6th Fife Scouts and Programme Team Lead Scouts Kirkcaldy
Euan was presented with a Quaich and cheque for £100 by newly elected President Lesley Main at the Clubs end of year get together in the Ecology Centre, Kinghorn.
He is the District Youth Lead, planning District wide events and ensuring that the voices of young people are listened to. Euan now 18 has been involved in scouting from the Beavers up to his current role as District Youth Lead where he makes sure that young people are represented. He is particularly proud of his work during a 10 day expedition to Holland where he met various challenges including studying the transport system as he cycled round the country.
Euan is currently studying History at St. Andrews University.
Not only does he volunteer with the Scout movement but helps with Growing Kirkcaldy supporting their gardening projects, supports his local community in Auchtertool with path maintenance, the local tavern revitalisation, Santa's sleigh and is involved with Kirkcaldy Rugby Club.

moreBurntisland RotaKids have delivered their Christmas gifts to the residents of Links View, Burntisland. Everyone had a great time and the residents enjoyed their gifts and cake etc. Many of the residents sang along with the children.
