What a great night on Monday the 24th February at Kinghorn Primary School. Pupils from Kinghorn, Burntisland, Auchtertool Primary Schools and their supporters met to take part and support the local heat of the Rotary Primary School Quiz. The evening began with a buzz of excited pupils and their supporters rushing to their seats ready to start the quiz.
Senior Vice-President Lesley welcomed everyone and thanked the staff of Kinghorn Primary for hosting the event, Lesley then handed over to Quiz Master John to begin the quiz. The quiz consisted of 10 rounds of various topics. Hohn kept the children's attention throughout, keeping the atmosphere light hearted and relaxed. All the teams made a great effort to answer the questions and there was excitement when the results were announced. First place went to Burntisland's "Clever Koalas", 2nd place to Burntisland's "Creamy Custards", followed by Kinghorn's "Kinghorn Mayhem" and 4th by just a couple of points, Auchtertool's "Sherlock Homies". A great big well done to all who took part on the night.
President George presented certificates to all as well as the Rotary Primary School Quiz shield to the winning team.
