Call my bluff Wine tasting Raises over £1000 in one night

A very humorous evening.

Thanks to all who supported our charity Wine Call my Bluff evening. We raised just over £1k which will be going to support our international projects work. In the past we have supported work in Ukraine, South Africa, Lebanon, & Ghana.

More recently we facilitated a micro loan project, where £1k is being used by a group of around 20 women to help set up sustainable businesses. For example tailoring, or the breeding of chickens, with the sale of eggs.
The project has been a huge success, and the money has repaid and used for a second tranche of similar loans.

At a global level, Rotary International are working to eradicate Polio from our world. Since starting this quest we have reached a stage where it is only endemic in Afghanistan  and Pakistan, with 2 reported cases in each country.

We also support ShelterBox which provides emergency shelter across the world when disaster strikes.

Special shout out to those who sponsored the event and helped make it happen.
