Soul Jam - Metrodome

This special 'Soul Aid' event will be a fitting end to the band, with a full evening of live music, plus band members from across those 13 years taking to the stage one last time.

Soul Aid returns to the Metrodome Arena for the first time since 2018, and it’s set to be the biggest and best one yet.

The 16 piece band will perform classic soul hits from artists including Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, James Brown, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and many more. Make sure you bring comfy dancing shoes, as the band is set to hit the stage for a massive 2-hour set!

The night will feature a full supporting lineup of artists, details of which will be announced very soon. The arena will have 2 licensed bars in operation, plus hot food available to purchase on the night.

Proceeds to go to Barnsley Hospital Charity.

Stainborough Rotary Club is very active in the community, supporting worthy causes such as Centrepoint, Silkstone Scout Camp and Young People’s leadership programme. The Club also helps Santa with his Sleigh every Christmas.

Enthusiastic volunteers helping to create the vital water borehole. Water = life !!

We have close links, over many years, with Ho in Ghana. We have helped to fund the building of a Women's Co-operative, a Rotary Community Hall, a Street Children's centre, a water borehole and now the building of a sand dam.

Stainborough raises funds for charities through organising events, Sponsorship, car boot & table top sales, competitions and selling merchandise.

Our own charity - the Rotary Foundation.

Stainborough is a friendly club with lots of well supported events throughout the year. Some are 'just for fun', whilst others raise money for good causes at the same time.
