My Body Is My Body Programme. It is a groundbreaking initiative that is making a real difference in communities worldwide. It is a free, internationally acclaimed musical body safety programme designed to educate children on body safety through engaging age-appropriate music, activities, and animated videos.
This programme has transformed child abuse prevention education through the magic of music. Conceived 34 years ago by renowned singer/songwriter Chrissy Sykes, in collaboration with the Departments of Education and Human Services in Texas and Tennessee This remarkable initiative has flourished and reached new heights since Chrissy animated the songs in 2017 and received many requests to translate the programme.
THE MY BODY IS MY BODY PROGRAMME AIMS TO HELP CHILDREN...
• Develop an understanding of what is and isn't appropriate behaviour towards their bodies
• How to identify potentially harmful situations, and how to ask for help if needed.
• It teaches children to speak up and how to tell if they have a problem.
• It teaches children who to tell if they have a problem.
• It discusses the subject of not keeping secrets

Stainborough Rotary Club is very active in the community, supporting worthy causes such as Centrepoint, Silkstone Scout Camp and Young People’s leadership programme. The Club also helps Santa with his Sleigh every Christmas.
