Stainborough Rotary and EyUp (South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust charity) are organising a new cycle event on 3 May 2023 called:
“On Yer Bike!”
the big bike ride in support of local mental health services
Please see attached poster about the cycle ride. The route is between Kendray hospital (Barnsley) and Fieldhead hospital (Wakefield), starting at Barnsley.
For this event we are in need of both riders and helpers on the day and we are hoping some clubs in our district will get involved.
If you would like “to ride yer bike” on this round trip of approximately 32 miles you can access information along with a registration form by scanning the QR code on the poster.
We are also in need of helpers at each end of the route plus marshals to support riders at certain points on the route. All marshals will be properly briefed and supported both before and on the day of the event. If you are prepared to help in some way on the day please send an email to Hilary Smith at hil5609@hotmail.co.uk by 21 April 2023.
It promises to be a fun day out for a very worthwhile cause.
We look forward to hearing from you.
