Beer Festival

we’d love to involve the wider business community in supporting one of our major fundraising events of the year — the Worsbrough Charity Beer Festival 2026, taking place on 2nd, 3rd and 4th October at Worsbrough Miners’ Welfare Hall.

50% of the proceeds will support Barnsley Hospice, with the remaining funds helping Stainborough Rotary support other local and charitable causes.

We would be really grateful if local businesses could support us in any of the following ways:

Donate a raffle prize
We already have a fantastic £200 top cash prize and are looking for additional prizes, vouchers, experiences or products. Any contribution, large or small, would be very much appreciated.

Help us sell raffle tickets
We can provide businesses with small books of raffle tickets to sell amongst staff, customers, friends and family. Even taking just a few books would really help — if a number of Chamber members each sold a small amount, collectively it could make a significant difference to what we raise.

For anyone who would simply like to support the raffle personally, we can also arrange the purchase of tickets remotely

We’d love Chamber members, their colleagues, friends and families to join us. Tickets are just £12 and include a festival glass plus four half-pints of beer — a great-value social event whilst helping us raise money for some very worthwhile causes.

It would be wonderful to use our new connection through Stainborough Rotary to bring more of Barnsley’s business community together, have a great weekend and, most importantly, raise as much as we can for Barnsley Hospice and other good causes.
