CPR and Defibrillator Training Session Saturday 28 November

Sat, Nov 28th 2026 at 12:36 pm - 2:36 pm

With Yorkshire Ambulance Service and former paramedic Karl Kraus we are hosting a training session at Primrose Hall, Cluntergate, Horbury on Saturday 28 November. Further sessions will be organised if demand exceeds places. Pre register please

Would you know what to do if someone suddenly collapsed and stopped breathing?

Knowing how to perform CPR and use a defibrillator (AED) could make the difference between life and death.

With another community defibrillator soon to be installed in Horbury, thanks to the support of Horbury & Ossett Phoenix Rotary Club, and Horbury Common Lands Trust, this is a fantastic opportunity to help local residents gain the confidence and knowledge to use these lifesaving devices, alongside the many already available throughout the area.

We are offering FREE CPR and AED awareness training, delivered by a trainer from Yorkshire Ambulance Service. The session will cover:

✅ Adult, child and baby CPR

✅ How to use a defibrillator (AED)

✅ What to do if someone becomes unresponsive and stops breathing normally
