Aireborough Rotary Charity Quiz Night at Horsforth Golf Club

14 teams of up to 6 people battled it out over 8 rounds of quirky subjects with prizewinners Roger and Out leaving it to the last minute to claim the title

As usual quirky subjects were plucked from the air including Trains Boats and Planes, Fictional Detectives, Film Music, It takes Two and the final Board Games round that decided the winning team thanks to their Joker. Former winners but this time using a different name the Optomists were only a handful of points behind.

Quiz master Brian Whitham kept the ball rolling, the pies and peas and a busy bar replenished the players and one lucky winner chose the correct key to open the box and take home bottles of whisky and wine.

back The Community Leader organises events some yearly including Dictionaries4 Life, Easter Egg Hunt, Jakethon and the Halloween Trail as well as the Social Interactive Quiz. It also supports the Friends of Guiseley Cemetery and the Beer Festival.
