Ben was in one of the bands performing at the 2018 Beer Festival. The Swan Song project is a charity giving people facing end of life and bereavement the opportunity to write and record an original song. Since founding the project in 2017 Ben has worked with over 50 people dealing with terminal illnesses and the loss of a loved one to help them write their own songs. This presentation will cover how the project began, how it has grown and where it is going as well as looking at some of the benefits of songwriting for people in these difficult stages of life.
