Barry Mills and his Educational committee members ensured good representation from all four local Secondary schools as well as smooth running on the night.
Brian Whitham compered with aplomb, given the names of some composers.
Inner Wheel and Rotary members provided refreshments for thirsty souls and mouths.
The audience responded appreciatively with only one false start.
But the judges, Mitzi Whitham, St. Clair Logan and Liz Kenwood-Herriott took on an onerous role and performed splendidly - providing encouragement, knowledgeable and constructive comment and praise all ensuring that each competitor went home feeling content with their evening's efforts.
Well done everyone!
