Rotary Club of Wolverhampton St. George's Date for Antiques Evening with Will Farmer of the BBC Antiques Roadshow

The Rotary Club of Wolverhampton St Georges will be holding an antiques evening featuring Will Farmer from the BBC Antiques Roadshow on Thursday, 16th March 2017 in the main hall of Wolverhampton Grammar School.
The first half-hour will be a meet and greet session with Will. This will be followed with a presentation by Will on one of the many interesting antique topics on which he is both an expert and an entertaining speaker.
After a break at the bar, Will will take to the stage again to look in detail, with the owner's consent, at some of the items viewed earlier
Proceeds from the evening will fund two worthwhile projects. Locally, Penn Hall School need durable outdoor furniture; a project will provide new seating made from recycled materials. Other local charities continue to be supported.
Internationally, Rotary has been providing funds to help eradicate polio. The last few cases are in northern Nigeria and some areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Immunisation needs to be continued in all affected areas for three years after the last case; this event will help to see this major project through.
Tickets are £12 each and can be obtained via the phone line on 07492 703924 or by emailing rcst.georges.events@gmail.com, or contacting any member of the club. Tickets are also available at the door.
