Peace Week 08 - The OSBAs

As part of the club's mission to connect with it's local communities of Moss Side and Hulme, we sponsored the Young Person's Award at the Peace Week 08 OSBA (Outstanding Social Behaviour Award) Dinner at the City of Manchester Stadium. In the presence of the Lord Mayor of Manchester, DG Mike Payne together with co-sponsors MANCAT announced the winner of the award - Andre Bygraves. Unfortunately Andre was unable to attend the ceremony so the award was accepted on his behalf by Rev. Juggler one of the Manchester Street Pastors. Also during the evening club member Jackie Berry sucessfully bid for a special, limited edition Peace Coin which had been made out of re-cycled gun metal from firearms handed in during a recent amnesty.
