The Rotary Foundation is Rotary International's charity - collecting contributions from Rotarians and supporters around the world and using these to support the work of individual clubs.
The mission of the Rotary Foundation is to
goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health,
the support of education and the alleviation of poverty.
One major focus of this has been a twenty-five year drive to eradicate Polio worldwide, which is now tantalisingly close to completion.
Foundation is the framework that supports many of the programs that link Rotary Clubs and Districts across the world through a variety of projects. The Rotary Foundation also funds Rotary's Peace Fellowships Programme and supports scholars at universities around the world. By working together, we can achieve so much more than we could on our own.
