End Polio Now - October 2018 Update
At the Rotary District 1145 meeting on 27 October, it was announced that 23 clubs in the district had donated more than $1,500 in the last year to the End Polio Now campaign
At the Rotary District 1145 meeting on 27 October, it was announced that 23 clubs in the district had donated more than $1,500 in the last year to the End Polio Now campaign. Included among these clubs were the two Godalming clubs and congratulations go to Jane Stedman, Woolsack’s Chairman of he Foundation Committee and club members for ensuring that we have exceeded the target for EPN giving for yet another year. The photo shows President Mike Slocombe in the line up of representatives receiving their recognition certificates from the Rotary Foundation.
District EPN coordinator, Peter Morley, emphasised the importance of us continuing to make these donations, all of which are trebled in value by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, because the battle with Polio is not yet over.
