Assisting the Friends of Millhouses Park to maintain the SensoryGarden
Millhouses Park Sensory Gardens
A small group of Rotarians often join the Friends of Millhouses Park to help tidy and maintain the Sensory Gardens in the park. The work includes clearing the beds fo weeds and old, expired plants and, at the right time, plantung new plants ready for a springtime blaze of colour.
We also help maintain the purple Crocus heart bed nearby. This was formed originally with crocus bulbs provided by Rotary.
The weather and the compant are usually good, the Friends provided refreshments and a good & productive time is had by all.
