Sheffield Young Artists

Every year, we organise & host an exhibition to encourage the artistic talents of the children of Sheffield

An example of the works

Mid April saw a selected group of young artists, primary and senior, being invited to meet Sheffield's Lord Mayor, Jayne Dunne, in her parlour at the Town Hall. Everyone enjoyed this prestigious event with plenty of warmth and chat  from a promising painter herself. Additionally, Ken Marshall, who started SYA back in 2004,and has been fundamental in making it the success it is today, was presented with a silver salver, in the presence of the Lord Mayor, to honour and commemorate his devoted work .
