Club receives prestigious award

The Rotary Club of Furness is proud and delighted to receive the Club Excellence Award from Rotary International.

The award recognises the work that is being carried out both locally and further afield. It does this by acknowledging the achievement of a set of goals by which a successful Rotary Club is measured.

Club President Nigel Johnson is delighted that the club has been recognised in this way.

"We have a great set of members who come together to achieve so much, the main thing being that we all enjoy what we do and get a great deal of satisfaction, but most importantly we also have a great time whilst we're doing it. 

Our membership is growing but we are always on the lookout for people - male and female - to help us to do more".
