Barrow history uncovered in a new book about the town's growth by Jean McSorley
Local author Jean McSorley talks about her new book 'Mud, Mayhem and Moneymen'.
The book contains over 190 maps, whilst photographs illustrate an in-depth look at the growth of Barrow, particularly around Central and Hindpool.
The book also highlights how the streets, bridges, docks, industries, pubs and churches of the districts, that were home to the majority of townsfolk for decades, still shape the lives of everyone living in Barrow.
