Each year Rotary clubs in Lancashire and Cumbria compete in a quiz of general knowledge and specialised subjects.
This year's first round draw pitted Furness against Ulverston, with the two sides locking horns at Furness Golf Club.
Ulverston took the first round but Barrow rallied in the second. It was round 3 that proved to be decisive with Funess taking a good lead. It was then more or less tit for tat in the remaining five rounds with Furness eventually coming out on top by 68 points to 54.
Thanks are due to Tony Callister from Barrow Rotary for asking the questions.
Furness now await the draw for the next round to see who their opponents will be.

It was two successes in as many days for Furness as the previous evening they beat the Barrow club in a selection of indoor games.
