Each year Rotary Clubs from all over the country come together to help people in need to benefit from having a warm coat for winter. These coats are donated by members of the public at collection points throughout towns and villages nationwide.
At the end of the campaign local Rotarians gathered at Michaelson House Hotel in Barrow to sort and bag the hundreds of coats that had been donated in the lacal area, before they were sent to be distributed.
Picture shows (l-r) club members Fred Winkfield, Don Jesson, Graham Postlethwaite, and Peter Garwood with dozens of bagfuls of warm clothing.
