Kick-start for young footballers

Holker Old Boys under-7s have been presented with training tops provided by the Rotary Club of Furness.

Rotary President Nigel Johnson said it had been a pleasure to help such a thriving and ambitious local football club. "Holker Old Boys has a very progressive structure with all ages up to senior level, with the first team once again looking for a play-off place in the North-West Counties League. "Who knows in a few years time our Rotary Club might have contributed to a very successful career for a young footballer?"
