Tour de Furness 2024

The 2024 Tour de Furness is now over and we'd like to thank each and every rider for helping to raise money for their own favoured charity or for St. Mary's Hospice.

There were also dozens of people helping in different ways. The WI handled the entries with expertise, and our mother club of Barrow Rotary demonstrated their traffic management skills.

Furness Amateur Radio Society provided slick communications, and the mobile first-aiders kept everyone safe.

Askam Rugby, Ulverston Scouts Group and Furness Rugby helped on our rides, marshalling and managing our signage.

Last but not least our Rotary District Governor Kath travelled around the bay, rolled up her sleeves up and got stuck in.
