Help for local schools
Amenity funds benefit
The Rotary Club of Furness will always consider approaches for financial help from local charities or groups.
Recently each of three schools was presented with a donation of £250 for their amenity funds.
Furness Club Youth Lead Martin McLeavy handed out cheques for £250 to Mick Gill, Head of Ormsgill Nursery & Primary School, Vicky Evans, Deputy Head of Barrow Island Primary School, and Sam and pupil Szafiera of Greengate Junior School.
