Rotary funds new facility for disabled sailors
Much needed ramp installed
Blackwell Sailing Club in Windermere helps disabled people to enjoy some time on the lake.
In order to help them expand their facilities six Rotary clubs in South Cumbria came together to fund a ramp to make it easier to put the boat into its home!
The clubs involved were Ambleside Kirkstone, Barrow, Furness, Furness Peninsula, Kendal, and Ulverston.
Representatives from all six clubs recently came together for the official presentation.
