110,000 and counting

Vaccination campaign reaches another milestone

110,000 and counting!

That’s the number of covid vaccinations given out by the medics at Alfred Barrow Health Centre in Barrow since the vaccination programme began less than two years ago.

The three Rotary clubs in Barrow are delighted to have taken the lead by helping wherever they can with a host of jobs, but mainly marshalling the patients that come to each session, pointing them in the right direction, and trying to solve any problems that might arise.

The driving force behind organising the Rotarians and other helpers has been Peter Garwood from the Rotary Club of Furness, who has toiled late into the night and early morning drawing up rotas so that the helpers know what they are doing and where they are going. Well done Peter!

The programme is ongoing.
