Jonny Cormack from Blackwell Sailing explained how the organisation helps people with disabilities to enjoy sailing on Windermere

Blackwell Sailing enables local people with disabilities to learn new skills by sailing on Windermere.
The organisation, which is a registered charity, has been doing this since 1993.
They are also an RYA Training Centre and have accreditation with RYA Sailability.
The club heard from Jonny Cormack about the 30 year history of the organisation, which has been helping disabled people to enjoy sailing on Windermere.
Several organisations from South Cumbria enjoy the use of their fleet of very safe sailing boats. There is one which is equipped with a "sip & puff" steering system, so it can be piloted by anyone.
Following Jonny's presentation President Fred presented Blackwell Sailing with a donation of £300.
