Alan Todd's for Chinese and Drinks

Furness Rotarians, partners and friends gathered at Rotarian Alan Todd’s Home in Dalton for a night of Chinese food , fellowship and conversation (in English of course).
Alan had filled his oven with numerous dishes of Chinese food, speciality rice and other goodies ( purchased at the local takeaway at no doubt bargain prices knowing our treasurer!). Everyone brought their own alcoholic libation with non-alcoholicdrinks provided by Alan for those teetotallers( were there any?) and drivers.
The night of good food and conversation was enjoyed by all. It was perhaps “luck of the draw” that Alan won the £10 prize in the Club Foundation Raffle & a presentation of a Paul Harris Fellowship was made to Rotarian Frank Randall for his services to Rotary.
A very successful and enjoyable evening was had by us all and we are all very grateful for Rotarian Alan for his hospitality and letting us share his home for the night.
