Rotary Clubs of Furness and Barrow-in-Furness Kids Out 2014
Founded in 1999 Kids Out gives disadvantaged children and young people fun, positive experiences that contribute to their development, well-being and outlook for a happier future. Every year Kids Out helps over 55,000 children who may have escaped domestic violence, have a life limiting illness, special educational needs or are young carers.
In partnership with The Rotary Club of Great Britain Kids Out takes in excess of 30,000 children on a day out every year. This Day Out is always organised for the second Wednesday in June. Kids Out is proud to say that it is the largest event of its kind in the UK.
The Rotary Clubs of Furness and Barrow-in-Furness alternate annually in organising the day out to an attraction in the Furness area. This year
