Christmas Party 2006
We had a splendid Christmas Party in the Duddon Suite at the Abbey House Hotel, 37 rotarians and guests sat down to a splendid feast after the Steelworks Band had played us a number of Christmas Carols to get us into the festive mood. Ken had produced an excellent songsheet and everybody joined in the community singing.
Later we were entertained by a pair of travelling close up magicians - Felipe and Co who had a host of very clever tricks which they performed expertly and had us applauding like mad.
