Fundraising Events
This page gives an overview of the fundraising events we organise.
Our members take part in a wide range of fundraising activities. Along with supporting local community events organised by other community groups and rotary clubs, we also run our own fundraising events.
The Great Nottingham Duck Race:
This event consists of us selling tickets for a yellow plastic duck during Nottingham's Riverside Festival. Each year we launch over 7,000 ducks into the River Trent from the suspension bridge and watch them race down towards the finish line at the world famous Trent Bridge.
