ACTION SUMMIT - 'GEORDIE NIGHT'


The Action Summit kicks off with an aptly-themed 'Geordie Night' on the Thursday 7th November 2024. This will be held at The Crowne Plaza Newcastle - Stephenson Quarter, Hawthorn Square, Forth Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3SA

Pre-dinner music will be provided from 6.30pm by 'Robson's Choice' - Northumbrian Pipers and Instrumentalists. This will be followed by a locally selected 3-course dinner with a Geordie-themed menu and after dinner entertainment will by the world class folk singer and fiddler, Tom McConville.

The Club Service team in collaboration with the President and Secretary organises and manages the club's calendar of events.

The International Committee monitors Rotary International, looking at ways our club can assist in overseas projects and in particular creating public awareness of Rotary involvement in the Polio Plus campaign.

The Rotary Foundation is Rotary's own charity supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotary members. This support is essential to make possible projects, funded with Foundation grants, that bring sustainable improvement to communities in need.

The Community Service committee encourages club involvement in local initiatives such as Games for People with Disabilities, Stroke Awareness and Driving for the Blind as well as raising funds for local charitable causes at our annual Charity Golf Day.
