The Lockdown Heroes initiative, run in conjunction with the other Wyre Forest Rotary Clubs and 'The Shuttle', to give praise to the selfless heroes of our community who have helped to keep others going throughout this past year has been a great success with publicity each week for eight weeks in 'The Shuttle'.
There have been over 30 nominations and John Cox who has co-ordinated everything, on behalf of and in conjunction with the other Wyre Forest Clubs and 'The Shuttle', told the Club that it has been an absolute delight meeting all these Heroes who are supporting people in our community through these difficult times.
He thanked all who had been involved in the project particularly Sheila Cookson for printing the certificates, Colin Hill as the official photographer and the members of Bewdley, Kidderminster and Stourport Clubs who have been involved with the actual certificate presentations.
Thank You John for all your effort and time to make this a very worthwhile and rewarding project and also to Emily Collis of 'The Shuttle' for her encouragement and invaluable assistance.
