Christmas Draw 2025

Look out for info on this year's Draw, thank you to everyone who supports us in raising funds for the local community.

The Dorchester Casterbridge Rotary Christmas Draw has been running since 2004 and during this time it has raised more than £172,000. It is an extremely good means for supporting small groups in these financially challenging times.

Members of the club raise sponsorship for the draw from local businesses, which provides the prize money and covers all operating costs, such as the licence and purchase of the draw tickets from the printers. All prizes are monetary which enables winners to be paid out swiftly, no matter where they are in the Country.

Participants (which must be small local groups or not-for-profit organisations) sell the draw tickets which are in books of 5, these are sold at £1 per ticket, money and ticket stubs are returned to Casterbridge Rotary Club.

The Rotary members will endeavour as in previous years to add a bonus to the amount raised by a participating charity or group, through selling tickets at Dobbies Garden Centre, Owermoigne or at the Dorchester Christmas Cracker event.

The Dorchester Christmas draw winning tickets will be normally drawn on the last Friday before Christmas.

Cash prizes are as follows 1st Prize £500, 2nd prize £250, 3rd prize £100. 4th prize £50

Every penny raised by an organisation selling draw tickets will be returned to that organisation together with any bonus from the Casterbridge Rotary Club sales. (this is usually an additional 5% but in recent years we have managed 15%)

Look out for info on how your group can get tickets to sell, and look out for tickets all over Dorchester.
