Christmas Draw 2025 Results

Thank you to everyone who supported us in 2025, we look forward to doing it all again in 2026!

The Dorchester Casterbridge Rotary Christmas Draw has been running since 2004 and during this time it has raised more than £180,000.

Members of the club raise sponsorship for the draw from local businesses, which provides the prize money and covers all operating costs, such as the licence and purchase of the draw tickets from the printers. All prizes are monetary which enables winners to be paid out swiftly, no matter where they are in the Country.

Participants (which must be small local groups or not-for-profit organisations) sell the draw tickets which are in books of 5, these are sold at £1 per ticket, money and ticket stubs are returned to Casterbridge Rotary Club.

The Rotary members endeavour to add a bonus to the amount raised by a participating charity or group, through selling tickets at Dobbies Garden Centre, Owermoigne and at the Dorchester Christmas Cracker event.

Every penny raised by an organisation selling draw tickets will be returned to that organisation together with any bonus from the Casterbridge Rotary Club sales. (This is usually an additional 5% to 15%)

At 5pm on Friday 19th December 2025 the Dorchester Town Deputy Mayor Councillor Robin Potter accompanied by the Deputy Mayoress Val Potter and supported by the Club President Rachel Wilson drew the winning tickets for the Dorchester Casterbridge Christmas Raffle.

1st Prize £500. The ticket number 111881 was sold by Portland Museum to the winner who lives on Portland

2nd prize of £250. The ticket number 091699 was sold by Dorchester Middle School to the winner who lives in Dorchester.

3rd Prize of £100. The ticket number 096391was sold by St Osmond’s School.

4th Prize of £50. The ticket number 099976 was sold by Milborne St Andrew School.

The four winners were contacted after the draw and the winnings transferred to them already in time for Christmas.

All at Casterbridge Rotary Club thank the sponsors, participants and everyone who helped by selling or purchasing tickets.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and look forward to doing this all again in 2026!
