Dorchester Casterbridge Rotary club launches its small grant scheme encouraging local charities or not for profit organisations to apply for funding.
The money has been raised by a number of the club's community activities including the Dorchester Beerex festival where it partners with West Dorset CAMRA. Over the years the Rotary club has supported many local groups and we wish to continue to do this again this year. Applicants are invited to apply for funding to support activities within their organisation for up to, or in the region of about £400.
The fund opens at 09:00 hrs on Monday 2nd February 2026 and closes at 17:00 hrs on Sunday 1st March 2026.
Successful applicants will receive the funds applied for in March.
The Chairman of the small grant committee, Rotarian Les Fry, added “As a club we are very conscious of the financial challenges many organisations currently face and wish to do all that we can to support as many as possible. We have tried to make the process as simple as possible for anyone applying”. We have a limited amount of money to distribute and would like to hear from any charity, group or organisation from Dorchester town or the surrounding villages.
The application process is simple and can be accessed using the the link below.
