Rotary GB&I INTERMEDIATE YOUTH SPEAKS COMPETITION 2016-17 - LOCAL HEAT

Thursday 19th January
#SunninghillSchool in Dorchester provided four teams for the competition held at The United Church in Dorchester. They were assured of winning the schools' salver as they were unopposed this year. However, the decision to find the winners from the four teams proved extremely difficult for the three judges, Robert Potter (Chairman), Julian Snook and Tony Boyden. The topics were varied and thought-provoking and the winning team's subject was 'Sugar in Food'. The winning students were Dylan Walters (Chairperson), Imogen Douie (Main Speaker) and Dominic Woollam (Vote of Thanks) and they will now go forward to the Area Semi-Final. We wish them every success
