Visit to Langham Wine Estate
After a trip to a local eatery in Tolpuddle. We had a visit to this local winery on a fairly miserable August evening which was quite misty and windy but at least not too cold. We started with a look at the fields containing the 38000 vines and learned some of the difficulties of growing vines and grapes. Then we went into the winery itself to see the tanks and machinery where the wine is stored before being bottled and finally the best bit at the end where we were able to sample some of the sparkling wine produced there.
